What a beautiful summer, busy and hectic but beautiful none-the-less. I had an amazing time shooting weddings and portraits all summer. I even had the opportunity to volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club and help with the Buskers festivities (twice).
I am impatiently recovering from an ankle injury and although it doesn’t affect my photography it has prevented me from running in my usual series of races. Fortunately, I was so busy with events and portraits that it wasn’t as noticeable as I expected. On a positive note: I had the time to cheer on my brother who is in the midst of his very first race season.
This summer was huge for me and my business because we moved out of a shared studio and in to our VERY OWN location in the Maritime Opportunity Centre! It has been a LOT of work, painting and organizing and of course paperwork like updating my insurance. I am thrilled to have my own space and although a work in progress, it is fully functional!
I am a big fan of Summer and as usual I feel it is leaving too quickly but I always look forward to the beautiful Autumn we get to have here in the Maritimes. It is bittersweet, really.
Here is a look at some of my summer fun!
Until next time!
